Kroger ----> Seems to be updated a lot.  These rules where checked by the Kroger in Ottawa, IL on May 18, 2011.  They did specify that the policy has changed sense "Extreme Couponers" on TLC.  And the policy will be updated as they deem fit :(  I used to get many deals at Kroger, but have noticed on "Extreme Couponers" the misuse of Kroger coupon policy.  The majority of the deals being shown are only used for promotion of the show and are not allowed for every day couponers.

-They double every day coupons UP TO .50  (anything above $.50 will ring up at face value)

-They will only double TWO of the same coupons (there is an exemption to that, though...for example, say you have 10 coupons for $.50 off of Chunky Soup...they will double all 10 coupons if you get all different kinds of the soup!)   WENT TO KROGER ON 2/1/12 AND THE POLICY CHANGED AGAIN.  WILL ONLY DOUBLE TWO OF THE SAME COUPON NO MATTER IF THERE IS DIFFERENT FLAVORS OR KINDS, NO EXEMPTIONS!

-They have STOPPED stacking e-coupons with manufacturer coupons :(

-Everything else is standard...as long as you use the right coupons for the right item, they will take them.

Remember, it is always best to have the store manager on your side.  Don't try to find a loop hole or a go around with their policies and find your self fighting over coupons.  If you feel that your position is correct with a coupon, have your policy available and show the cashier, if their is still a misunderstanding call over a manager.  All policies will see be YMMV only because even thou something seems black and white to us, the store manager may have a different opinion.  And even thou we believe we are correct, it is up to the cashier to process the order.  We cannot push the buttons for them.  Don't argue to an extreme and be black listed by the store.  And typically, I have been told, that corporate policies can vary by location and manager.  Have your coupon policies available and typically if you are on good terms with the store they will help you any way possible to keep you as a customer.
