The Sick Week

FEB 19, 2013

     Ashley became sick Sunday night.  I was  hoping that during their day off of school on Monday that she would get over it quickly but I was wrong.  No school for Ashley today.....just the boys.

     Today was Jump Rope For Hearts Day.  We did not do well for fund raising this year.  Which is sad and unfortunate.  Kyle wore his shirt that he earned last year and Tyler wore his version of his "Nice and Cozy" outfit.  Ashley will be missing the event.....she is still sick.

     I do not even remember why the boys where not having a good morning today.  Must not of been that bad if I don't remember.  I am taking Ashley to the doctor today.  Going to get some good meds to kick this sickness in the butt!  Tyler has his last game of basketball today which we will be unable to go to.  This would of been the only one we would of been able to watch.  He ended the season with 4 wins and 3 loses!

     FINALLY....she is getting some great sleep.  She is fully medicated and resting.  The meds are going to kick this colds butt.  She is very congested and is on Amoxicillin, Benadryl-D, Children's Advil, and plus her normal medications and will probably be starting breathing treatments.  We just need to stay out of the hospital and get better!

     The boys will be heading off to school and it looks like old man winter has finally stepped thru the door and made me go out and use the snow shovel.  Well at least I got my morning exercise in and I did not mind it.  It was not that bad....I have shoved worse.  Unfortunately with Ashley being sick and the boys being grounded they will be unable to enjoy the snow for now!  Now snowman or snow angels for this household.

     Yep the meds are kicking the colds butt and Ashley is happy.  She will be spending the entire week off of school home with Mommie so we will see what we can get done.

AT LEAST SHE IS HAPPY

     Cleaning out the closets and moving the tissue boxes is a great time to stack them!

     I have a happy girl!  And yes she is still wearing her Justin Bieber shirt .... she will not take it off lol!    The Boys are not so happy ..... Still grounded.  :-(

     Well it is Sunday and the boys have been grounded all week I have cancelled two appointments for myself and Ashley has been sick all week and has miss the entire week of school.  Hopefully next week can be better!  For today..... the boys are still grounded but I believe Ashely will go to school tomorrow!

     One of Ashley's favorite day's.  HAPPY LOVE DAY!  Ashley wore her heart Tubie Whoobies to school today.  I was told by the school nurse that Ashley had a big smile and started laughing before the nurse went to hook up Ashley for her feed.  Ashley surprised the nurse with her extra heart.  It was a good day for all three kids.  They all came home with candy and valentines.  Tyler came home with an extra special gift from a girl in his class.  Nothing special for me just another day.

     Off to school.  Ashley is wearing a new up cycle dress.  TINKERBELL!  I love it and it fits her perfectly. It is all about her!  Ashley was cold today so her wanted to wear one of her nice and cozy pants over her tights to school so I let her.  I told her to take them off when she got to school.  I found out she did not and ended up wearing her pants all day!  Nice outfit Ashley.

PROBLEMS

     Well this week Ashley has quit dance.  It has been coming and I have been attempting to put it off.  I have basically been forcing her to go.  She comes home and I let her know and she complains until we get to dance and then she is happy.  But the problem is getting her ready and I am tired of fighting her about it.  So for now she is done with dance.  

     I have been sick this week and have been putting off things that should of been done.  So today we needed to go to Walmart, Ashley's favorite store.  But it was also the perfect time to take a video of the problems that I now have with my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer!  I have had multiple issues with this car and my car is actually missing pieces because they are a safety hazard but have not been recalled!  This is just another safety hazard that is not recalled and that was told to me on a phone call to Chevy!

     Off to school for Ashley.  I believe that she now feels better then me.  But I am going to try to get out of the house.  First stop my nails!  But lets cross our fingers that the boys don't come down with anything.  Love Ashley complete Pink outfit......it has been in her closet forever and never worn.

Just a little IPOD fun

     I saw this on another web site and now I can't think which one it was but it is a fun idea.  You take a picture of the kids smushed up to glass and then set it as the ipod wall paper and it then gives the illusion like the child is stuck in the ipod and attempting to break free.  Very cute!

Just the Boys!

     Ashley is staying home today.  We both are sick!  I was hoping to avoid
this sickness but it just did not happen.  A day of rest for both of us while
the trouble maker boys are at school.  Love ya boys!

     The boys attempted to wear red for a fellow CHDer Payton.  There family
has chosen Feb 1to celebrate Payton's journey with CHD.

     Haha raining yesterday and a little bit of snow today.  So lets celebrate the
snow and pretend it is winter out.  Time to pull out the penguin shirts!  Slow
month and it seems like the next will be slow and well.  I know March will
be very busy so I am ok with the slow months for now.

Alien

     There was a surprise waiting for Ashley when she arrived home from school.  A Medi-Monster!  She loves her and named her Alien right away.  Not sure where she came up with that name but it stuck.  We where getting ready for dance so we thru on her monster dress over her dance outfit and it was perfect for the picture with her new friend.
