Peoria Day!

     Peoria Day!  Ashley's appointment with her GT doctor went well.  No changes and no concerns.  She has lost a little weight but still in the 50% range.  And Ashley has been eating a range of her normal tube feeds and regular food.  Still very picky but still pretty easy to order what she likes.   Currently she loves hot dogs!  When we go to Peoria I like to make a day of it.  It is point less to drive and hour away to a big city and not do any thing.  But we had a late start due to insurance issues so we did not fit much in.  We went to Five Guys and Fries for lunch.  It was a toss up between this and my favorite restaurant Ruby Tuesday's.  I was attempting to be some what cheap and decided to try this place.  I was very interested.  It ended up being a good choice.  The burgers where great and Ashley had her hot dog.  I was surprised how big a hamburger could be.  And for once I was able to get every thing on my burger! We did not do much after this.  We went to Plato's Closet and Toys R Us and then came home.  Every one was tired and we just needed to chill at home.  Still a very nice day.

A Visit to Oak Brook Mall

     It was a nice day out but very hot.  To hot to stay out for long.  Every one actually had off for the day.  And we still could not think of something for us all to do.  We ended up at Oak Brook mall, which is a beautiful out door mall with very expensive shops!  Some are very nice to look at and but still many are look but don't touch stores.  I was very tempted to buy a Vera Bradley purse and even some shoes, but I really don't need to be spending that much money on shoes and a purse, and I really don't need them.  Still separating my needs from my wants and attempting to keep the wants down to a minimum.  I was able to take a few pictures right before we where leaving.  And took some pictures of some frog statues.

Oglesby Nationals First Place Win!

     The Oglesby Nationals played Lasalle and we won!  Final score 6 us 0 them!  Tyler is so excited about the win and is very proud of his trophy.  His team had wonderful coaches and awesome players.  And the support for the all of the players by the bystanders was outstanding.  But I do realize that Tyler may have a better golf swing then a baseball swing.

What a Day!

     Ashley's first thought of the day is about her nails.  Ashley now loves her nails.  She loves them pink with sparkles and if they are not that way I hear it.  Before it was "Oh no my nails", but today it was "Can I get my nails done?".

     I started the day by attempting to get out to the car so I could go to my dental appointment.  But even the easiest of tasks must be hard or not completed.  The door was not closed behind the kids and Coal ran.  I ran about two houses down before I threw my hands in the air and told him to go for it.  I went inside and told the boys to go get their dog.  I then had to find the number to my dentist and cancel my appointment.  Of course after I do this I go to the door to go to the car to find the dog and the boys come back with Coal.  Now that I have cancelled my dental appointment what should we do.  We honor Ashley's request!

     We also made a run to Target and Walmart to look for the hard to find Lalaloopsy's.  Oh where oh where is Peanut, Spot, Bea, and Sahara?  But we found a wonderful bathing suit for Ashley and some shirts for the boys.  Ashley's first two piece and a size 7/8!  They are not into modeling they ran downstairs to play the Wii instead.  Outside has been not a answer for the boys it is just to hot!

     Another nail bitter....we won in the end us 6 Lasalle 4!  I believe that he is timid at bat from what happened last game.  Their next game and the game that could determine who comes in first is on wednesday so hopefully his fair goes away before then.

     The below picture is the only picture I took on the 15th!  I surprised myself.  Apparently I just did not have the camera out enough this day.  I believe we went swimming with Ryan, Hannah, Kaylie, Conner, Scottie and Casey this day but I was just enjoying talking to Pam and Melissa and didn't even bring the camera in with me.  It was a good time and I did get a little color!

     And then to the next day.  I guess Ashley did not want to change her shirt.  Justin Bieber kinda has taken over her clothing selection.  The kids did spend some time at their friends house and then they migrated to ours.  I decided just to keep Ryan and Hannah for a sleepover.  They where playing so well together.  We went to our favorite weekend restaurant (Steak and Shake) and then went to the Lincoln School Park.  We decided to go their just because it is familiar to Ashley and she is able to do a lot by herself.  The boys where not very photogenic.  They where very busy running around.

Crazy Eight Game against Utica

     We won!  This was a very tight game.  We won 1 to 0 but they almost had a run in the last inning and then it would of been over time.  We much rather just win the game and skip the extra innings!  I was really irritated with how Utica plays.  They have their players chant during our turn at bat, and really I believe it messed up their pitcher so much they three of our player where hit by the ball (Tyler was one of them)!  My pictures did not turn out but have some videos to make up for it.  Go Oglesby... so far we are undefeated!

Daddy's Last Day

     Time to catch up!

     This was Daddy's last day home with us and we attempted to fit a lot in.  Ashley had her last day of her two day dance camp and danced to Justin Bieber!  We then went to the park to play and practice baseball.  The boys do so much better when they are with their dad.  We did some last minute shopping and bought a new sprinkler.  It was a good final day with their dad.
