     It is jungle theme in Ashley's class today so she wore a jungle zoo shirt (that I believe was at one time my sister Sam's)!  Kyle wanted to dress up for the morning picture and he did a very good job.  The shirt is possibly a contender for the school's picture day.  And Tyler was happy to wear a Grave Digger shirt, which Kyle wore on Friday.  It is a good thing I kept up with the laundry over the weekend.  The pictures did not turn out the greatest, part is my camera, and part is that they could not stop squinting because of the sun.  I guess we may have to start taking pictures with sunglasses.  

     

     When Ashley came home while eating her "Num Num" she wanted to read the paper!    When she was done with a section she would yell for Kyle so he could read it.  I wonder if she learned that from school?

     For some reason I didn't take a picture of them on tuesday the 30th.  But then it may be a little over kill to take pictures every day before school.  As for today we have a soccer game so I am sure we will make up for the missing morning picture and the game.

Football Game and Soccer Picture

     Busy day first thing.  Had to get Ashley ready for soccer so she could go with Mrs. Melissa.  I was unable to go to any of her soccer today because I had to take the boys to football.  But she was happy just to be able to go and play today and spend it with her best friend.  As soon as she was done with soccer Mrs. Melissa brought her to the boys football game.  Ashley was able to spend additional time with Hannah sense Hannah's brother Ryan is on the same team!  The boys football game went fast.  And there was a lot of very short plays.  No really big moves and my boys only blocked players today.  Their team lost again, but I believe they where all very tired from the LP High School football game last night. It is not a good sign when the coaches hand out sugar coated donuts to the players before the game.  All of the boys seemed distracted/tired today.  So hopefully next weekends game is better.  Here are the videos, all very short.  Kyle is #84 and Tyler is #1.

LP High School Football and Parade

     Instead of football practice today we had a event to go to.  The boys where told to go to the LP football field and their team's coaches would be announced as they team paraded around the field.  It was a good thought but I am not sure it was planed out correctly.  I had my boys at the ramp to meet their team at 5:45 pm (rather be early then late) and around 6 pm their team and coaches did start to show up.  The parade as far as what I could tell was supposed to happen around 6 pm, so Ashley and I bought our tickets and headed into the event.  We where told that we would have to pick our kids up after they where done marching (which makes sense).  Unfortunately the section in which they wanted parents to sit in was on the complete opposite side of where we had to pick up our kids.  And I figured we would only be sitting for a couple of minutes before I would have to get up and bring Ashley to go get the boys, and in the process lose the seats we would of had.  So instead we stood by the fence to not miss the parade and have easy access to the exit.  We stood for an hour.  Ashley was not happy and kept asking to sit on a bench, which there was none by us that she could sit on because they where reserved for ticket holders (assigned seating) or for students only.  I was upset and asked about the situation.  Only because their are now close to 400 kids (the youngest in 2nd grade on the side of the street when it is getting dark and only with their coaches)!  The guy that heard me said he would go check on the kids.  I don't know him and he does not know my kids.  He did not understand that I was uncomfortable leaving my kids in that situation for that amount of time!  I got no help from him.  Eventually (an hour later 10 mins later, my recording started around 7:10 pm) the parade started.  They did not clear the field of the two teams about to play, because for some reason they where announced first and they where practicing their kicking and throwing.  So footballs where flying every where and even into the parade of kids.  And the crowd was loud and cheering for the LP High School or visiting team and really didn't seem to pay much attention to our players.  They need to rethink this idea for next year!

     I finally sat down with the kids to watch the LP High School football team.  It was not easy to find seats.  Attempting to throw in 400 more kids into an all ready packed arena was not easy.  The kids seemed to enjoy at least the first two quarters of the game and by the third Ashley and Kyle where ready to go home.  We stayed for the last quarter only because Tyler wanted to.  The LP Cavalier's ended up losing.  We finally walked into our house around 10:30 pm.  We have a very early morning.  Ashley is getting pick up to go to soccer while I take the boys to their football game!

My lesson learned on Cowboy Day!

     Unprepared for today.  I guess I didn't read Tyler's notes from school very well, but I received another yesterday that said the next day is cowboy day!  We had a soccer game yesterday so really did not have time to go shopping and look for themed clothing.  So we pulled out the cowboy hat that I bought in Texas, unfortunately Coal had his way with it, so there are holes in it.  It  did not faze Tyler and he wanted to wear it any ways.  So the hat and a simple shirt and jean shorts with holes completed his cowboy look ;)  At least he was happy with it.  And then for some reason it seemed that Ashley's feed took forever to finish and we somehow had less time to get her ready.  Then I had to go thru at least three additional outfits then the one she actually wore to school!  I am tired, but do not want to (ok I do) crawl back in bed.  I want to get things done and possibly read.  Pretty sad that I do not have any thing else to do but read.  But apparently I need the practice!

Soccer Game

     Time for a soccer game.  The boys won!  The scored ended up being 2 to 1.  And Kyle scored one of the goals.  Both boys where goalie for a quarter and neither of then let a ball score!  Tyler did have to come out during the middle of the third quarter.  He was hit in the face with the ball.  And he didn't even know that it caused a bloody nose and blood was all over his face and shirt.  He just kept playing and was wiping his face with his shirt.  He said he didn't even feel it!  During the fourth quarter they let Tyler come back into the game.  He had to change his shirt and wear a bright pink shirt, but it was easier to find him on the field.  Kyle is #14 and Tyler is #11 (or pink shirt).  It was a good day for a game.  Football tomorrow!

     They actually ask for the morning picture lol!  But I was a good one today.  The boys wanted to pose with their football.  The pictures turned out great.  Soccer game tonight!

Another day off to school

     Only 8 a.m. and Ashley is in her second outfit.  She wet right thru her new diaper.  I asked her if she was going to start peeing on the toilet and she flat out told me no!  So we attempted again today to get a picture of all three of them before school with their eyes open, no such luck their.  Ashley did wake up with one request...she wanted to bring her purse to school.  She was with me when I bought a purse at Goodwill yesterday and she apparently she thought it was hers, she is not carrying my purse in the pictures.  She is really turning into a girly girl!  She is still on meds but seems to better.

A new beginning...

     Today I started my new life.  I have to learn to live outside of my husbands life, because at this time any involvement with it has really lead to nothing but fights. And until their is a compromise on how I am involved I am taking a break.  I do know that I cannot completely conform to being in the dark about his military career.  Or being given misinformation or none at all.  So as of now I am not sure what the future holds.  All I know is that something needs to change, otherwise neither of us are happy.

     Facebook was a very hard thing to change my status on and no matter what I thought, I believed I was still married, but my husband already changed it :(  I told myself that I would not do that.  I do not want to give the wrong impression to anyone who knows me on facebook.  But I didn't decide.  It was done for me.

     So on to my day....
                                      Ashley is not feeling the greatest.  She is back on allergy, cold, and fever medicine.  She was still able to go to school and she said she had a great day.  I am hoping she fights it and gets back to feeling well.

     And as for the boys.  They said they had a good day at school as well.  And they had a great soccer practice.  They are in bed for the night to be ready for another full day tomorrow.  They have school and then football practice.  There is not a day during the week that they don't have practice/game for either soccer or football and their is football games every saturday.  Our only day off is Sunday and they already claimed that for swimming at the YMCA.  I am not sure I can live up to that.

     Very very busy day.  Started off at 6:30 am.  I had to get up early to start Ashley's feed.  This is something I am going to have to get used to again with the kids back in school.  Ashley was already for her soccer time (bows and all) but the weather did not cooperate.  After that we had a the boys first football game.  We arrived at 11:05 for the 11:15 practice!  We didn't leave until after 2 due to the weather delaying all games for an hour.  The boys did really well and so did their team.  Unfortunately they did not win.  We where a little unprepared for our next stop...soccer!  Sense football was pushed back we left football to go directly to soccer practice.  I did not even have their shin guards!  Their coaches where just very happy that the boys where in attendance.  And of course our day did not stop there....we had a birthday party to attend to.  All in all it was a good day and I was happy that we fit it all in!  Let's see what tomorrow brings....

First Day of School!

     Who has their first day of school on a friday and for a half day?  Oglesby does!  O-well all three where very happy!  Ashley is in kindergarden, Tyler is in 3rd, and Kyle is in 4th.  It should be a wonderful year!
