Slime Time

Jan 27, 2012

This was a lot of fun and really not that messy!  It is only corn starch and water but turns into a lot of fun.  They all started with their own little batch.  Ashley made her's pink and really did not want to touch it but had a lot of fun moving it around with spoons.  The boys also had their own batch but in the end they ended up mixing them together add adding additional colors!  We will do this project again very soon.

Kyle Basketball

Jan 25, 2012

Kyle basketball season has official started.  I am unable to watch the games because they are still learning how to play.  But I was able to sneak a picture again and a quick video!

SNOW

Jan 21, 2012

It was time to bring out the snow boots and enjoy the snow.  Well at least the boys did for a couple of minutes.  They attempted to play football.  I thought the snow was going to stick around but all we have had is just a couple of snow days but nothing to much to worry about.  I am actually ok with this.  After living in Iceland I have had my fair share of snow.

American Heart Association

Jan 22, 2012

Today I am asking for your support.  I am a volunteer for the American Heart Association.  During February of every year I ask for donations to support the American Heart Association.  I became involved with the organization after the time spent with Ashley at Saint Louis Children's Hospital Cardio wing.  It is a very difficult to live day by day knowing that your child may not survive and even if it is not your child that is having challenges you know that tomorrow could be.  Every battle fought in the cardio wing is a group battle and every member is important.  Every loss hurts.  Cardiovascular disease does not only effect children but effects everyone.  You may know someone or will know someone that will be effected by Cardiovascular disease.  Their is no age range and their is no time frame and we need to help more.  We need to stop the loss and pain by funding research and education and hopefully further advances will be gained.  Please donate to the American Heart Association by clicking here.  All donations are tax right offs.  Thank you.
