Happy New Years!

New Years Eve 2011

What do you do on New Years Eve? My typical New Years Eve is spend with no significant other but with my three kids. Instead of drinking and partying we played at the mall and rented movies from Redbox. I finished a book and started a new one. Quite yes but it is what it is. We enjoyed some play time and now some down time. Hope you are having a wonderful New Years Eve!

A Night With Out

Nothing like walking into your house after being away to a no heat. I was 54 degrees in my house. The heater broke! We spent the night in the front room in front of the fire. It was still pretty cold in the house all night only got to the low 60's but we piled on the blankets and bundled up, so we where warm! The heater was fixed in the morning and will have a surprise bill in my mail box! But we need heat and he fixed it so the billed will have to get paid. Just add it to the pile lol! It was still nice to be home! Soon the new year will be here so lets try to stay away from things breaking in the house!

CHRISTMAS

CHRISTMAS 2011

It was a great Christmas. Kyle and Ashley did receive every thing on their lists and more. Tyler did not receive much on his list, but if you saw his list in a previous blog post you would know why. Every one seemed very happy with their gifts from Santa. I was very happy with every thing that I received as well. Nothing to big which is great! Things that I will actually use! Don't need more junk to store or to have in my house. I have too much already. Tyler and Kyle both received phitens but Tyler's only lasted that day. He has yet to find it :( The boys watched the football game later that night and Kyle was disappointed that the bears lost, but Papa already warned him that Green Bay was going to win! We even fit in some XBox dancing and Kyle enjoyed a game of UNO!

The Night Before Christmas

Well we have to have breakfast first. Ashley was all for helping Grandma and Papa make french toast and then cookies! Before bed the kids put out the reindeer food but sense their was no snow it was difficult to see. We then put out cookies and milk. In the morning the boys checked the reindeer food and told me that the reindeers did not eat it! And my mom doing her morning pick up cleaned up Santa's cookie and milk messed before the kids saw it. Grandma did show Ashley the half eaten cookies in the trash!
