A great day! We went to the Illinois Valley Detachment 78 Marine Corps League Kids Christmas Party. The kids had a lot of fun playing games, talking to Santa, have a snack, and receiving early christmas gifts. We also where able to pet many different types of animals. Like a skunk, a turtle, a duck, a chinchilla, a llama, a rabbit, and even one of santa's reindeers! I was very surprised at the amount of gifts the kids where given when I was only expecting one for each. I can't express how thankful we are to the Illinois Valley Detachment 78 Marine Corps League. I took multiple vides and many pictures so we could remember this day!
The kids did express that they felt that they meet the real Santa. This was because they saw another kid pull Santa's beard and it did not come off. This Santa is a really good one. The kids showed him their christmas wish list and Santa asked them if he could keep it. They of course said yes! It is a good thing I took pictures of their lists!
