EGGS

March 31, 2012

Easter has really snuck up on me this year!  Why is it so early?

We attended two easter eggs hunts today.  These easter eggs hunts where very simple and easy compared to the "Easter Megga Egg Drop" disaster of last year (which was was not done this year)!  Just wished it was a little warmer so I could of put Ashley in a dress.  She is still scared of the Easter Bunny so I assume when we go get pictures done she will not be very close to the bunny again this year.

First Egg Hunt Oglesby

This was a traditional egg hunt.  The kids ran for the eggs and where able to grab as many as they wanted.  I stayed with Ashley while the boys where in their section.

Ashley was picky with her eggs and only wanted pink ones.  She did not run.  She walked and picked up three pink ones and also some suckers and marshmallows that where left to find.  She did well and was happy.

Tyler and Kyle must of ran because they both got a good amount of eggs (anything is a good amount compared to last years total of two for three kids).  Kyle's eggs where mostly stickers and erasers and Tyler got some candy.  In the end I told them that they where going to share so they need to just be happy that they where able to come.  But every one left a winner because in addition to the egg hunt (run) every child was given a gift too.  The boys both choose inflatable footballs and Ashley choose a pink bunny.

      And onto the next....

Tyler's grab

Look at those eyes!

Kyle's grab....he was picky!

Second Easter Egg Hunt Peru

This was a very organized Egg Hunt as well.  Each child was only allowed to pick one egg!  Yes one!  And then they where turned in for a grad in the golden bucket in which they received a colored title.  The colored title was match to the prize tables and each child pick a prize off of the their colored table.  So every one walked away with a prize and one that they choose.  Kyle made out here because his color title was yellow which lead him to the grand prize tables.  He choose a easter basket with army guys and candy, which again he will share with his brother.  So while Tyler made out at the first Easter Egg Hunt Kyle made out in the second.  Which made them both happy.  Tyler picked a wood snake, which at first he was not happy about, but I showed him how to work it and then he was fine.  Ashley pick another pink bunny and no complains from her.  It was a great event.

     And now for lunch....

Pizza Hut Lunch

Pizza Hut is a quick and easy place for my kids to eat.  We order the buffet!  This is great for Ashley even thou she mainly eats a lot of shredded cheese.  But today she eat some Sausage as well.  The boys enjoyed their lunch as well.  Which I would hope sense they suggested Pizza Hut.

Now it is time for a nap....yea right!

My not so winning ticket!

Really what else is there to say...
I embrace my unlucky status!

Our new pets

March 25, 2012

I had to find our dog Coal a new home.  I have heard from his new owner and she is very happy with him.  It has just became to hard to try to fit in all of the kids needs and Coals as well.  The kids did not seem to care at all.  Which is unfortunate but tells me that finding a new home for Coal was the right decision.  There will be no more dogs for us.  But Ashley wanted fish.  So we now have four!  I don't mind fish at all.  We are starting off small and will go from there.  And the fish tank we choose is pretty cool as well.
