Girls Scouts 100th Birthday Celebration

March 18, 2012

Busy busy day with Daisy's.  We celebrated Juliette Gordon Low's 100th birthday!  I only expected to stay at the event for about an hour but all three kids enjoyed the crafts, games, and food so we stayed a little longer.  I did not get as much as I wanted to do but it was nice just to be able to enjoy an event with the kids.  Ashley was choosen to hold her troop sign for the parade (the video is below).  The boys where able to explore mostly independently while I went around with Ashley.  Ashley was able to buy some tickets and trade some Girl Scout swaps.  We both learned how to do more crafts, like the hair ties and the wind ornament, which we will have to also do at home.  Ashley really enjoy's Daisy's and loves every event so far.  She looks forward to the get togethers.  It was a great day and it was beautiful outside.  It feels like spring!
