This was a busy morning and nothing really seemed to go right. But they did make it on the buses which I was doubtful of. This morning they took pictures with their pumpkins.

The boys are ready once again for pictures!

Finally time to carve the pumpkins! Ashley did not like touching the pumpkins guts but did not mind pulling the pumpkins seeds out of it. The boys tried really hard to scrape as much as they could out but Jamie and I finished it. Jamie did much of the craving. I was only able to help out a little, my hands where not cooperating. I hope next year the boys will want to attempt to crave something themselves, even if it is just some sort of face.

Chuck E. Cheese

Ashley begged to go to Chuck E. Cheese so we took the kids out of school to go! I was a great time because we had no time schedule and we had the place pretty much to out selves. Check E. was so bored he came out and played with the kids multiple times. And threw tickets up for them to catch as well. By the time we left Tyler earned 443 tickets, Ashley had 542, and Kyle 650. We had tickets from a previous time so our grand total was 2,234 tickets. We ended up spending only 6! So we now have 2,228 for out next visit! We are going for big prizes. We took the kids to the neighboring Toys R Us and they the boys got Legos and Ashley two mini Lalaloopsy's. Fun day for the kids!

Hiking

A beautiful day! We decided to go hiking at Starved Rock State Park! We only go here when Jamie is home. I don't believe it is something I would feel safe to do with out him. The water level was fairly low so we where able to climb to many places we normally would not be able to. Jamie and I stayed pretty clean and dry but the boys seemed to find every puddle they could. The kids where very tired afterwards with the pumpkin patch and hiking all in one day!
