What a day. We left the night before after dance class and drove straight to the hotel. We had to make reservations at a different one then last time due to the other one being booked! It became a popular hotel. But even thou I liked that one this one was so much better. I am unsure of why I did not take any pictures of it. The hotel was literally five minutes away from the hospital! And close to many restaurants and a mall. Our room was a sweet with two queen beds and a pull out couch. With two sinks and a mini bar with a refrigerator and microwave. And still had an indoor pool. This will be our new hotel of choice! Our appointment was easy, just for eyes. Ashley was unable to do the letter test so they tried with pictures. She did fairly well but I could tell that sometimes so just wanted to say "I don't know" they say what the picture was. We will have another appointment next Oct and hopefully she can do the letters by then. But so far so good!
After her appointment we had a good lunch at the Applebee's which is in walking distance from the hospital so I didn't have to re-park the car. The kids thought walking thru the willow tree branches was fun and the reflecting pool was neat. Sense the hotel was close by we where able to go back before we went to the Saint Louis Galleria Mall. I wanted to go their so we could finally fix Ashley's teddy bear "Bella". Bella came back to the hotel fixed and with her first outfit! As I promised we then went the the hotel pool. Which was perfect for the kids. I was able to sit back and read and they where able to play! Then we headed back to our room for school work and for Ashley's feed. We had Olive Garden for dinner. Which Kyle said he hated before but did not hate the food as he was eating it. He even ate salad, which is abnormal for him. We went to bed early and left the next morning to come home after the hotel breakfast. It was a good easy trip to Saint Louis. Hopefully it is this easy next time in December!
