Take Kyle Out To The Ball Game

Kyle was able to go to the Peoria Chiefs game today! He has found a great friend and I am very happy for him. I really hope this friendship continues and besides I do believe that Ashley thinks that the little one is her boyfriend. Finally Justin Bieber may of been replaced. Tyler and Ashley stayed home the rest of the day and played outside while I continued the never ending task of yard work.

Kyle is really into taking pictures and video's and now that Ashley has a quite handy Ipod touch he can do just that. I connected the Ipod touch to the computer and was happily surprised by these great pictures that Kyle took! Thanks Kyle for adding some pictures to my never ending collection. Enjoy!

Movie Date

A great day for the kids and I at the movies. But not such a great day for me and the husband. Not happy with military life at all. My kids are missing their Daddy so much and their is nothing I can say or do anymore. We have our happy moments, but only when we are not missing Daddy so much. We are upset on how we are treated by the military. So the day was great with the kids but ended up the same way.

Reading

Bought a leapfrog reading toy for Ashley for Christmas and she goes back and fourth from using it. But I believe that since we have made a family activity going to the library at least twice a week that Ashley is really beginning to see how fun reading can be. This toy is great. I just change the books that are loaded on the device to the ones that she is interested at that time and she can spend a great deal of time just exploring them. She has her book bag in her closet in which she pulls out and off she goes. And she was happy to show off. I also started taking pictures via Instagram. It allows you to put change the images and post directly to my facebook and twitter (now I have to see it if can post to my blog....which I think I can do). Follow me....

We decided that we needed to get out of the house. So we go to the mall. Not to spend money but to go to the small play area. But to our surprise today it no longer existed. It will be out of service for just a couple of days. So instead we had a quick bit to eat and decided to play dress up. What do u think?

At FOOTBALL!

Today was a good day, besides the mess up with which boy was supposed to be at the Football Combine. My Dad came down and fixed my invisible light and changed the battery in the car (Thank you DAD)! Below are pictures of just Tyler. Did not get any of Kyle due to the last minute change. Are you all ready for the football season? I sure hope I am!

Another Wet Day

Another great day at the pool! Ashley made more friends today and was very happy to be at the pool. And the boys found some friends as well. I did decide today to let the boys stray a little further from me so that way they could be with their friends. Both decided today was the day that they where going to go off of the diving board. Kyle did great and Tyler was a little hesitant and practiced jumping off the edge of the pool into the deep end before attempting the diving board. And then he was ready. Both the boys did great and their where no problems. A hot day at the pool thou, it was close to 95 degrees, but also a great day at the pool. We all got some color and Ashley got some pink cheeks, which she asks when it is going to go away!
