Jamie left on Friday for his 30 hour drive back to CA. We will miss him but had fun while he was here. We enjoyed going hiking at Starved Rock State Park, Bowling, and going to Chucke Chesse! It was very hard to say good bye but we rather him being in CA then deployed to Afgan or Iraq! We are going to plan to visit him in sunny CA during the summer! Just have to find time between baseball/t-ball, football, and soccer. Could I attempted to do any more sports! LOL I believe I will be pawning my kids out to the highest bidder for all of the traveling in different directions they will have to go. I am very lucky that Tyler is on a wonderful team and they will be a great help (yes I am volunteering you to watch my Tyler all summer)! And hopefully, if it works out Ashley will be on her friend Hannah D. team and Melissa will help me with her. I am currently looking for volunteers to step in to do my concession time (I know I ask a lot).
Today has been a day with lots of cleaning. I tend to find a lot of stuff to organize and have many projects to start/finish. But I am starting this tomorrow and would like everyone to join me so I feel motivated to finish it. Already the first one seems hard!

Well this is all for now....I think. You never know with me. See posts from everyone tomorrow!
Why don't you move on a base with him and the kids to CA! The government is suppose to take care of the families to so they don't have to be away from each other so much! The Government does it for so many others why not you and yours! You all deserve to be together! Your such a beautiful family! Good Luck and he has our support God Bless you for keeping this nation safe and all you do Jamie!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your old friend Michelle,
Mary Freytag and my family husband Craig, kids Taylor and Ashley
Wish I could....The military nor the government does not have a program available to help with funding to sell our house due to the market. The military expected us to move on base but with recuriting that is impossible. The closest base is 3 hours away on a good day. We do not have the money to take a loss on r house and or pay a realitor. So we are stuck here while Jamie is stuck in CA for the next five years!
