Day 03 - A picture of the cast from your favorite show
This was an easy one. I believe this is the case from Dexter from either season 1 or 2. But it does not matter the season the main character of Michael C. Hall makes the show.
On another subject. Did you watch American Idol last night? I love Casey Abrams. His performance last night was wonderful and he made the song modern. I am thinking about downloading this performance for my personal collection. But watching it on youtube works too.
Another show on last night was TLC "Extreme Couponing". I love the idea of the show but I believe the the couponers on the show display compulsive behavior, which may be to extreme to show and is not the truth of an average couponer. Extreme couponing may be to much to show and I rather a show that displayes the truth. I believe the show actually sheds a unpleasant view of couponers. Many of the show coupon stars are presented as horders that have emotional problems because they are spending more time couponing and shopping rather then time with family. Some family members, even while participating in the event, seems rather annoyed with how the house ends up looking because of the extensive stockpile. And cleaning the self of mustard just because you can is not right, ok she did leave one!
I do believe that many of these couponers are shopping at Kroger. Kroger is a wonderful grocery store but every one does have different rules. Our Kroger (last time I checked) only double coupons .50 cents and below to $1.00. So .55 cents one will not double. I you are only allowed to double three of the same type of coupon on an item. So if a coupon is for a product that has two flavors you can double six if you get three of each flavor, otherwise you can only double three. Many of the Krogers that the shows couponers go to many double coupon for a $1.00 to $2.00 and their are also some Krogers which triple coupons! I would never be able to get as many items in one order as the couponers on the show, due to my some what local Krogers policy.
So, in the end, I do coupon. It would be a wonderful event if I could get over $1000.00 worth of groceries for $5.67 but do I need it to be noodles, hot dogs, and mustard? I do have a stock pile and use what I have. But my house will not allow for it to be to extreme. I give a lot away and give my coupons out to many. But I do not want a show to display me in the wrong light. I have a binder, and I love it. But I do not love my coupons more then my family (which was displayed on the show). I have learned that if you miss a good deal it always comes around again and rainchecks are a wonderful thing. But the best thing is spending time with my family (and lately that has become hard to do with Jamie away).
What are your thoughts?
