Ashley's First T-Ball Game!

     Ashley's first T-Ball game!  She had some fun with her friends on the team.  She still does not understand any part of it yet.  She hates wearing the glove and the hat.  And she told me she was done multiple times, but she stuck it out and finished the game.  Of course the game ended in a tie.  Ashley ran around the bases when prompted (not around the pitchers mound) and attempted to slide.  She hit the ball off of the T with her new special pink bat.  She did not understand that she is supposed to pick up the balls that come by her.  She instead stood there and looked at it, until a teammate picked it up for her.  Her coaches and her teammates have a lot of patience with her.  I have posted multiple videos of the game in my youtube account GingerSnapPrincess, and will also appear on the side of this blog.  It was a good game! :)

Day 03 - a song that makes you happy

      I apologize in advance for this video.  It is from the 90's.  I am stuck on 90's music.  This one if from Fun Factory titled "I Wanna Be With You".  This song, along with many of Fun Factory songs, remind me of some good times with my best boy friend at the time Jimmy!  I loved spending time with him.  Have fun with this video and tell me if you remember this song!

Tyler Baseball 5/20/11

     This is the first game of Tyler's I have been able to watch.  And looking at the schedule I will be missing Tyler's next game.  Ashley has dance and her T-ball game the same day and both over lapping and the same time as Tyler's game.  I wish that Tyler's game was in Oglesby.  But it is in Peru!  Hmm decisions?  That is what I get for having three kids in sports!  Well Tyler had a ruff game.  I really wish his head was more in the game instead of being in his own little world in the out field.  I was on him the entire game to keep his glove on and watch the ball.  He never was walked or hit the ball :(  He needs practice.

     Ashley always has fun at this field.  This one has a nice slide and her new friend a pet rock!

Landscaping Progress

     Took more mulch then I was expecting but I believe it is looking good.  Ashley picked out a pet frog from Menards!  I thought he was cute as well.  Hoping to be able to start and finish another island tomorrow.  Have more mulch bags waiting in the driveway to be placed.  Every time I work out there it gets closer to completion but I just wish I felt better.  I need to find some Zyertec!

Day 02 - your least favorite song

     Not sure if this is even a true song.  It started off as a incident to a news report.  His song is actually "Bed Intruder Song".  But the above is more friendly.  Which can be downloaded from itunes or found all over YouTube.

Kyle's Speech

     Kyle had to give a speech on a historical figure today.  He choose Jackie Robinson.  I will post a transcript of the speech as soon as it is graded and brought home.  Just wanted to share his accomplishment.  He did wonderful.
