How Ashley Sleeps

While the boys and I watch Big Brother. Ashley sleeps! A little amused so we took a picture.

I have not been feeling well the past couple of days. So I have been slacking! My house is a mess and I have not been posting. So what do I do? I find out some information on facebook (my new sort of life) and then stay up late to post on the blog. Just to speak freely.

The boys had their first soccer game and I have found out that it is very hard to video or take pictures of any of the action on the field. So I did my best with multiple videos! Have fun. Kyle was the first person to sit out for the team but that was very short lived. Tyler was hurt and replaced Kyle on the side lines. He needed to sit out with an ice bag on his ankle. But come the second quarter he was back in and so was Kyle. They both like to run both they both seem to understand some one that some players need to stay open so their is some one to pass to. They both will get better as the season plays out. Tyler was a goalie and I told him I would not feed him dinner if he let any goals to be scored. Which worked out because he did have dinner! They ended up losing but the boys did very well and had fun. Ashley found girls and a baby to play with and she let me take a video of her doing her rolls. Kyle is #14 and Tyler is #11!

She is really turning into a girl! She now loves her nails painted and for the first time I was able to paint her toe nails. Now I am far from being an expert but it makes her happy. She also decided that she has a new best friend named Makenzie from Toddlers and Tiaras! She loves that show and says her wants to do that (she points to the TV as Makenzie is on stage during a pageant). Ashley thinks it is funny that Makenzie runs around screaming for her Ne-ne (pacifier)! She also said while watching Yo Gabba Gabba that her talent is dancing. Apparently Ashley is thinking that one day she may be in a glitz pageant. To bad that pageants cost so much or I may just let her try it!

Ashley's First Day of Soccer!

It was a very busy morning. I stayed up way to late attempting to prepare for today but literally got nothing accomplished! Today was Ashley's first day of soccer, the boys soccer pictures, the boys football pictures, and Ashley's soccer pictures, all before 1! It all worked out and all the pictures have been taken and we forgot nothing! Ashley had a very good time at soccer and she loves that she gets to wear red. I some how had time to quickly make her some bows to wear for her pictures, which I promised I would. We bought the ribbon yesterday and she remember this morning and asked for her bows. I did stay up and try to make them, but apparently I do much better when rushed. She was very happy to have them for her pictures.

Another day of FOOTBALL!

AUG 11, 2011

Busy day. We had to make a couple stops in the morning to pick up a couple things. I was able to get Tyler a new mattress cover, Ashley some soccer shin guards, and six shirts for the boys for $6! We where thinking about going to the pool but it did not fit into our day. For some reason while we where out I wanted to stop and get haircuts for the boys but apparently my foot was making the decisions and we drove home. We ate lunch and then went out for haircuts, which actually worked out better because we did not have to wait. Then we went to MC Spots and finally found black pants for the boys to wear. And I found shirts at home for the boys to wear over their shoulder pads! Kyle decided he still wanted to wear his socks, even thou he is the only one wearing them. They had a very good practice!

Football

Another day of football. This is the first day of their padded practices (only five more to go to be able to play the first game). Practice went very well. No out bursts but do have some grass stained pants! Will have to wash them tomorrow so they are ready for tomorrow night. My month of August has become full due to soccer and football but as of now nothing that I cannot handle. Will just need a little help from my friend Melissa with Ashley. Other wise it was a beautiful day. We did go to Ottawa today to pick up medicine, shop at Kroger, and order Kyle glasses from Wal-Mart. Kyle and Tyler are the ones with no shirts over their shoulder pads and yellow socks (they where the only ones on the team wearing socks)! Click on the pictures to make them bigger!
