Ashley needs to use the potty so we are really going to give this a try. I made a "
My Potty Chart" and prepared the bathroom. Even have a LaLa ready for a treat for when she goes a couple of times. I read that you are supposed to give snacks of salty foods and make the child drink. Well this is a different ballgame when you have a tube feed child. And I can't even recall how the boys started! Is that a bad sign LOL! We started with a timer going off every 10 minutes and play at first "Baby" by Justin Bieber and then we found "
The Potty Dance" song. She almost made it to the potty once and went to the bathroom and peed on the stool. After that she had another accident in her room, even with the 10 minutes intervals in between. We even tried potty during a feed. We stretched the intervals to every 30 minutes and still nothing in the potty. She still does not like the potty. We tired playing patty cake, singing, and playing I Spy while on the potty and still she could not do it. She drank while we watched potty video's one youtube, especially
Elmo. She become tired and put her self to bed at 7! We will try again tomorrow but this is going to be a long process.
