This may of been the last Pajama story hour for the school year. I am unsure as of now if the library is going to have any type of summer program. The library is open to suggestions on changes to this event. At the beginning we had a full house and then less and less people showed up. Twice my kids where the only ones in attendance! But we enjoy it. The boys are able to spend some time looking thru the AR binder and checking out a book and Ashley finds one as well. And then there is three to four stories read, snack, and craft. It gives my kids some thing to do and we typically have had dinner and are ready for bed before we come. That way they can slip right into bed as soon as we arrive home. Our project today was fairly easy especially compared to some of the previous ones, but the kids really enjoyed this one. They are always looking for special book marks for their books! The snack was butter cookies which Ashley enjoyed. At least for us, this is a great event and we did not mind being the only family.
