Just another Saturday...

The kids had friends over this morning and it went very very well. Kaia even helped Ashley with her Rhyming board and I did a little reading lessons with Ashley. Much later in the day I decided to tackled the old spare bedroom. The bed went to a new home on Friday so I decided that for now that I could make the room a play room for Ashley. She has so many big toys! We need to make room in the main living area and more room in the real playroom. She is very excited and so are the boys. They love the additional room in the playroom. Will have to clean out the toy boxes tomorrow but I have a good start! Glad it is started at least! I am tired after all of this but it is worth it. Till tomorrow!

Circut!

I finally used my handy dandy Circut today! I wanted to finish a project that I pinned on Pinterst! I now I have my final item completed. Another thing done on my never ending todo list!

It is a container from Walmart that I can put in Bubble solution. This way the kids can help themselves! It has a handle on the top too. I will be able to bring this to games so Ashley and a couple of friends will have something to do. I am not a huge fan of the Oglesby Playground so I need something to keep Ashley away from it. Now what else can I use my Circut on?

T-Ball Year Two!

Finally it is T-ball season for Ashley. She always says her team needs her! This year she is the only one on the team that played T-ball last year! She was deemed the one to learn from. To funny. But we do have some very good hitters and throwers on the team that Ashly will learn from. Our coaches have never taught a T-ball team before but they have guts to do so. I as of now will not volunteer for things like that. Ashley wore her T-ball uniform from last year. This year she is on team Delaney's and is a navy blue. Will have to make her some navy blue and hot pink bows! Still waiting on the boys team colors to make bows for their games for Ashley.

Pierced!

Ashley has been asking about getting her ear's pierced. I have warned her that it hurts a little and she really did not care. Well she found her opportunity and did it! She watched a three year old get her ears done before her and the three year old jumped a little but did not scream. That was the perfect example for Ashley to watch. She climbed right into the chair and hugged the teddy and soon her ear's where pierced. She picked pink flowers. She wanted Hello Kitty ones but they where not the correct ones for starting earrings. Well Ashley jumped and screamed but she calmed down quickly and has been very happy about her new earrings ever since. Video below....

Daisy Trip to the Zoo!

The boys joined the Daisy troop for a Daisy outing to the zoo. It was great to be outside for a little bit and to enjoy some adult conversation. I was not overly impressed by the Peoria Zoo. It is very small! And very quick to walk thru. The kids and troop still seemed to have fun.

After the zoo we played on the park just outside of the zoo. It is huge. Reminds me of the one in Iceland. Then we joined a friend and her family for a trip to the Northwoods Mall and then to dinner at a Mcdonalds. Which was great for me! Plus the Mcdonalds has a huge playland. We where their for three hours. It made for a early bedtime for the kids and myself. Great day with great friends!

The Daisy season is coming to an end for the summer. Only a couple more meetings!
