Updates....

Ashley

Here is one of Ashley's masterpieces!  She understood the instructions and did very very well.  I am very impressed and happy.  For some reason on the scan the orange looks like red when on the paper it is orange.  Some times technology amazes me lol!  She is also getting very well at writing her name!  She is doing great!

Tyler

Tyler is very impressive.  He brought home the below certificate!  I am so glad that he is applying him self in sports.  He may just become a very well round student and athlete.  Which would be great for his college years and the multiple job selections he has already made.  He wants to be a football player, doctor, nascar driver, cook, and a Dad!  He is going to have fun attempting to fit that all in.

I also attached his school essay where he truly expresses his love for the Redskins.  I would love to take the boys (or their Dad take the boys) to a Redskins vs. Bears football game.  That way both boys would be able to rout for their favorites team!  I also loved how how he ended the essay!

The next essay Tyler had a little problem with and he actually asked me for advice on what to write. He finally came up with what his favorite part of nature is, but I don't think he really made a decision or really thought thru his reason why.  I love the fact that he think that grass give him something to stand on.  Thank you for grass or other wise we all would be constantly falling!

And finally for Tyler, I posted his Ellen Dance Dare video!  He tired very hard to find someone to sneak up on and he was caught many times.  I attached he un caught attempt!

"HAPPY EASTER"

April 8, 2012

The Easter Bunny arrived at the house around midnight and woke me up.  Apparently the Easter Baskets that I provided where to small for the kids so we had to find some bowls.  So I will be looking at the after Easter clearance for better ones for next year.  We where unable to color eggs today due to Ashley being sick by I am hoping to do that during Easter, but we will see.  We believe the kids will just be happy with their "Easter Bowls"!

Rosey

April 5, 2012

Not such a Rosey day for Tyler!  He has been crying all day about one thing or another.

We spent a good part of the day outside.  I cut the grass and they rode their bikes, played tag, played on the fort, played soccer, and multiple other things.  And then Tyler was sent inside.  Every little thing just bugged him today and his first response was to cry.  Then Kyle decided that he would pick his scab  so it would bleed all over the basement carpet and cry that he was bleeding.  I  think they both need a long nights rest.  So I got out my carpet cleaner and cleaned the entire basement carpet and finally dusted!  It was a mess.  Ashley decided to finally become attached to her "Tubie Friend" Rosey.  She has already given Rosey meds and feed her in a high chair!  We will see how long this lasts.  And of course Ashley had to dress up as a Princess today!  But she can't wear a dress with out pants (her choice)!

*****Note....Tubie Friends are always looking for donations to be able to fund the continuous requests for Tubie Friends.  Will also put a link on the main page of this blog!******

Shake Your Groove Thing

April 4, 2012

This was a great day for Ashley.  The Girl Scouts held a "Shake Your Groove Thing" event, in which the girls did crafts, learned a cheer, and learned a dance.  And before they left they performed for the parents (video's below).  While it was a great day for Ashley, it was not so great for the boys and I.  We had planned to be able to have just a mommy and sons day (except when I would have to go to the church to feed Ashley) but that did not happen.  Due to change of plans or miscommunication, I had to stay at the church with Ashley all day.  The boys where technically not allowed to be at the event, sense it was for Girl Scouts, but I really did not have a choice.  The boys and I had to stay in an adjoining room, while I checked on Ashley every so often.  I was not allowed to leave Ashley alone there as told by the people running the event.  It is against Girl Scout policy due to her medical condition.  Every thing for the event was pre-arranged but one persons change threw all of the pre-arranged plans away and I was stuck.  The boys did good for the most part but I understood why they where not happy, nothing like being stuck in a room for 6 hours with not much to do.  But we made it thru and I have learned a lesson today and the mistake will not be repeated.  Hoping for a better day tomorrow but may just have to leave the area to clam down a little.  I am pretty upset because of last night and today.  But like I said "Lesson Learned"!

Ashley Playing with Elmo

April 3, 2012

I have finally found a Wii game that Ashley can do by pretty much by herself.  She still needs a little help with steering but otherwise she does fine.  She also let me take some close ups!  She thinks they are really funny!

First Day of Baseball

April 2, 2012

Can't believe it it that time already.  They are both on the same team this year, which is a great help. But it they will not be on the same team for football!  Asking for the favors early (LOL).  Looking forward to a great season!
