Another day and another upcycle. We love this one as well and it fits her so well. The kids have early dismissal today and I am going to get my nails done. So I will not be getting much done around the house. Otherwise just an easy day. Glad that my days have become a little less booked.
Our first Upcycle has arrived! I have envied anther families daughters and how cute she dresses them. She spends alot and it shows. I don't have a clothing budget to dress my kids in name brand clothes. And with the boys they dress them self and pretty much pick out what we buy for them. With Ashley I have a little more control. I just want to keep her little forever. These upcycle dresses are not cheap either and if I could sew I would make and sell them and make some for Ashley. But for now we will buy a couple and then sell them back to the facebook group when she grows out of them. So we are attempting to fit it into the budget! This is a dress by Trendy Little Me and called "Funky Monsters". We love how colorful it is and how it twirls!
After school we rearranged the basement to fit a twin bedroom set back into Ashley's playroom. A little rearranging and it all worked out. I was even able to sneak away some unneeded toys as well. With the twin bed Ashley has somewhere to put all of her animals and babies to sleep. And it is the prefect place for her to play doctor. A busy day!
Back home and back to school. While we where away for the weekend we still where able to go shopping! At Walmart of all places, but the boys now have their winter jackets. Monday's are typically Dance Class day for Ashley but this time the boys joined in with a little dancing of their own at home. They love the new song by PSY Gangnam Style. And they love parodies of it. So a little dancing to one was in order. While I do like the song I am curious how a Korean song became so popular. I have heard and bought cds from Korean artist that I love and have never heard the song here. I am going to attach one (ok two) of my favorite Korean songs below....tell me what you think and lets make 이정현 Lee Jung Hyun popular in America!
A quick trip to Aunt Sam's today and the only picture I took is of Ashley! It was a very busy day moving items from one house to another. Two family members are currently moving and each house is moving items from one to another. And some items have been back and forth a couple of times. But was are all getting settled. I hope the next move thou is for me! A little hopefully thinking but no so likely.
Lazy friday with no school! So no before school pic.....
Instead we played Sight Words.
Sight Words is a game on which their is a word on each cup. Ashley has to either say or spell and attempt to sound them out. She does really well on some of them. But she has a lot to learn. Every time she attempts or gets one correct she is able to stack them. She loves this game and it even caught the attention of her brothers. Tyler wanted to see how high of a tower he could make and Kyle asked for more words so he could make sentences. So I guess this is a good game for all three.
Later in the day Kyle and Ashley wanted to make a cake. This was to make up for no longer having Kyle's birthday cake. Unfortunately after all of their hard work the cake did not turn out well. It did not keep its shape in the cake pan. But Kyle still said it tasted great!
I am finally in November! The weather is changing and I keep telling myself I should cut my grass again but I just don't want to. I need to get outside and do some more yard work...but their are so many more important things to do inside right! This is my parent fit (like a kid), but really must I. All is good here so far. The kids are ok and Ashley is filling up her Potty Chart. So not much trouble to get into today....lets hope that continues.
