Mr. Popper's Penguins

April 20, 2012

Movie night at Oglesby school again.  I love these events.  They are free and the kids have a lot of fun.  The movie of the night was "Mr. Popper's Penguins".  We have never seen this movie.  It is pretty cute, for what I did see.  I really did not get to watch much of it but instead hung out with Ashley and her friend Matthew!  The pictures are not the greatest.  I will one day get a better camera!
The boys found their friends and decided to not sit by me.  Which worked out anyways.  So now my question is...when is the next movie night?

Hello Matthew!

It has been brought to my attention...

..... that I may have a Pot Stirrer as a reader.  And my definition I mean:

A person who feels it necessary to try and create more drama in regards to a situation/arguement/debate in which they are an outside observer. Usually by way of a comment or statement.
"So then Becka said she thought she saw David with another girl at the mall but he was really at work, she is such a pot stirrer and really needs to find something to occupy her time."

This was not my intent of this blog.  I have opinions just like every one else and I am initialed to them.  I will in no shape or form apologize for any of my opinions I have posted.  You have a choice to repeat and share what is said but if it happens to cause additions opinions on my end then you are warned.  Stirring the pot is wrong.  If I want to address any situation to any individual I will individually.  Pot Stirs need not to apply or attempt.

Potty Day #4 and #5

April 14, 2012

The grandparents where here today and we still made many attempts to use the potty.  We did have accidents (good thing we own a carpet cleaner) but eventually we did go pee in the potty.  Grandma was able to join in the celebration.  On Sunday Ashley went potty one more time.  Straight after a nap she sat on the potty and it happened with out a problem.  We are going to keep trying.  So far on day 6 we have not done potty but we have tired.  We have dance class and baseball tonight so we can hope that she is going to go before our events.

Potty Day #3

April 13, 2012

Still no potty yet!  A disappointing day.  But we did learn you can take "Ella" the sheep to the potty.  Try again tomorrow.

Haircuts and a little Daisy surprise

April 13, 2012

Ashley is at Daisy's so what to do...time for haircuts for the boys.  You know it is time when you can't brush it down.  First up was Kyle!  He loves the shampoo time and so does Tyler.  That is half the reason why I take them.  The second half is because I don't want to cut their hair myself.  He kept his hair a little longer then I would of liked but the decision, for now, is up to him.  Then Tyler!  He was better at the shrugging shoulders!  He wanted to go bald but I did stop him there.  I told him that he would get a sunburned head and then he changed his mind.  So he went for a short cut, which is great!  I took one of my favorite pictures of Tyler (below).

Kyle went on a field trip today to the Shedd Aquarium and brought back a Daisy patch for Ashley.  He bought himself a pencil!  It is already added to her Daisy vest.

One of my favorites of Tyler!

Potty Day 2

Still have not actually used to potty but making multiple attempts.  We also find that you can play V-smile on the potty!  Hoping she gets it soon...she really wants the Lalaloopsy!

Tyler's Art Work

One day I was running through the forest.  When I saw a log.  I jumped on it.  I found a Lepchaun and stared in his eye.  Then he led me to his pot.  The pot was behind Fed ex feild.  I found a pot of skylanders every single one in the world.  After all that I played skylanders with my best friend Matthew Valein.  That's the day I found a leperchaun.
